Annie Meadows (founder) is an experienced dog handler, having cared for and worked with dogs for over 25 years.
Annie has been studying dog behaviour and training since 2012 and is a qualified Canine Behaviourist. She has achieved the Advanced Canine Behaviour and Psychology Diploma with the Pet Education Training & Behaviour Council and is a full member of the CFBA (Canine & Feline Behaviour Association).
Annie has two Cockerpoos with delightful characters, Lupin and Mr Brambles. Both dogs have achieved the Kennel Club good citizen dog scheme gold award. Annie and her dogs volunteer with Paws for Wellbeing, a non profit organisation providing Animal Assisted Therapeutic Activities for older people who may be lonely & socially isolated.
Before starting Cannie Canines in 2012, Annie had a varied career, undertaking leadership, training and coaching roles. She has a Masters in Human Resources Management, is an NLP Practitioner and a qualified yoga teacher. Based in Bristol, she is delighted to be earning a living doing what she loves, combining her skills with her love of dogs, people and the outdoors. She adores dogs and is keen to support dog owners to develop a special bond with their dog through good care and training.
Annie has been registered as a volunteer dog walker with the Bristol Animal Rescue Centre (formerly RSPCA) since 2012.
